2012 marked a watershed and proved Nigeria’s capability to produce two
crops of rice per year as demonstrated in ten northern states of Niger,
Kebbi, Kogi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Jigawa, Katsina, Bauchi, Kano and Gombe
